Kate is an illustrator based on the south coast, moving between her studio cabin and her campervan ‘Libby’, which she uses for her creative, colourful ideas and inspiration.

She primarily works with colour, mark making, collage and sewing, taking inspiration from travel and landscapes, people and places to visualise different narratives, creating bright beautiful textile images. Kates expectation is that her colourful art evokes a wide range of responses for the viewer, giving energy, optimism and excitement. She loves vibrant colourful packaging. Kate has a strong focus on reusing and recycling. Her usual mediums are paper, paints, acrylic sticks and sewing with paper and materials, creating bold, vivid images with texture. Procreate is used for digital manipulation and prints, when required, to captivate, enhance and dramatise imagery.

Kate has completed a BA and MA in Illustration with Portsmouth University.
